D- Steven Livingston Jul 17 New owners have gone in a different direction for the campground and course. People are only allowed on the property if they're over 18. No more tournaments for players 18 and under. The family funny on the historic first course in Indiana has come to an end.
C Michael Houk Jul 17
The course has recently changed owners. As of July 10th it is $7 per person per round $4 for anybody that's just walking. They have raised the price of camping as well. Bob and Tony will be missed by ... show more ›
F- Jaden Phillips Mar 2024 Historically good course. New owners have destroyed disc golf here. Nudist/lgbtq campground. All inclusive campground doesn’t allow kids anymore
A Imanuel Bernard Feb 2021 Old school course that is a lot of fun with great owners to boot
A Tate Marsh Sep 2020 This is a very fun course. None of the holes are especially long, and the baskets are pretty old. Course was designed by "Steady" Ed Headrick (PDGA #001) back in the 1970's. It is definitely worth playing.
B+ Ken Sampson Feb 2019 Good course with reasonable fairways up and down the hills and through the woods. A bit monotonous. Interactions with the owners have been problematic over the years.
A- Samuel Brown Aug 2018 I like longer courses, but that is not a knock on this course. Playing here is like stepping back in time in a great way. I love the old tee signs. I love the elevation changes. The pro-shop is nice and the staff are very professional.
B Jess Preston Aug 2020
This is a very short course. I think all holes are 300 or less feet. I feel it is rated a bit high. The course has an old school feel to it and is great for beginners. It is in need of new baskets to ... show more ›

Short but sweet. Great course to get your upshot practice in at. I only gave a B+ because I hate those baskets, but I did hear they were putting in new ones. Overall fun place, and the Birdie Bums in ... show more ›
A- Mat Burkholder Apr 2017 One of my favorite courses to play
B+ Tim Sylvain Oct 2016 Short, old school course that still holds up to new disc technology. A bunch of fun shots. Great pro shop. (didn't play the 6 added holes, only played the original 18).
A- Chris Lombard Jun 2016 Great course bring your hiking boots
A Fredrick Matthews May 2016 Affordable and plenty of trees.
B Tim L Sep 2015
Pros: Nice people that own the course and campground and the best pro shop anywhere nearby with great prices. Beautiful old-growth forest with a nice variety of technical holes. Cons: Two different ... show more ›
C Jerry Amick Jul 2015 Heard it was such a great place, drove almost 3 hrs to play, wasn't impressed, played 2 other courses nearby that were better, pro shop owner was a little arrogant too.
A Eric "Downtown" Brown Jun 2015 Favorite course in Indiana. Every time I step on that hallowed ground I know it is a special place. I once played the course at night, only to see a ghostly image of Ed Headrick the founding father of the course.
A- Brad Hargrave Feb 2015 Honey Bear is a great place to play! Has a little bit of everything. Pro shop has a great selection of discs at pretty good prices. A must play course if your in the area!
A- Brandon Hainlen May 2013 Short holes. Lots of trees and hills.
A Tom Denton Apr 2013 I started playing disc golf here in the mid '80s with a Frisbee. Also learned to throw golf discs here. Aces possible on almost every hole. Great course for 2 or 3 quick rounds of fun golf.
A Glen Baldwin Oct 2012 solid course great place to work on your mid ranges ppl can claim its to short but most wont shoot a 44 par being 54
A+ Branden Myers Jul 2012 Great course to get your putting and approach game fine tuned. This is a shorter course but being tucked into the campgrounds and woods really help with your accuracy. The owners are great and pro shop has everything you could ask for.
A+ Steve Bedwell May 2012 WoW, is all i got to say amazing mature course that will make your short game flawless, and has best disc store. PLAY $2
A Chris Blanchard Sep 2011 Love this little wooded course. The course I learned on 20 years ago. Changed a bunch in that time for the better.
B+ Robert Radtke Aug 2011 "why dont i just get in my time machine and set it for 1981" ...very fun course and extremely wooded...the last 6 holes are marked by 2 little orange safety cones and are in the field next to the parking lot.
B- Steve Burton Apr 2011 Very nice, but short course. Good flow to the holes. Lots of people playing, but were friendly and allowed play thru's because I was alone. The pro shop was excellent and the owners were friendly. Only negative is the hole length, but I enjoyed the round.
A Daniel Garrett Feb 2011 love the course..
