Top tier course in Alberta. Anyone who is able to play should do their best to visit. Locals are friendly and spoiled to have a public course professionally designed available to them. Fox Hill has challenging lines on both layouts with elevation, water, and lots of trees.

Concrete tee pads, new signage, ongoing course maintenance by the municipality and WBDGA volunteers makes Fox Hill a must play.

Also groomed in the winter if you’re able to brave the elements.

I have had the opportunity to play Fox Hill a few times now & love this course. It has a really great combination of technical wooded shots with some open throws. It is clear that there was a lot of thought, time and effort put into building & maintaining this course. Its an Alberta Beauty. Top 5 in the Province for me for sure.
It also holds a very special memory for me as well. I will make every effort to play Fox Hill anytime I am back in Fort McMurray.

What's not to love about this course. It has a little of everything, plus cement teepads. The short (white) tees offer a fun round through the course with a variety of shot types and even some technical lines. Try the long (blue) tees for more technical or distance lines with a greater challenge. There are still some final finishing touches to be completed - the course is brand new and work is still ongoing. Hopefully a parking lot soon!

Course had baskets and tee pads installed in 2020. The 2 layouts offer quality play for all skill levels. The only thing holding this rating back is the fact the course still has some work that needs to be done, no parking lot yet, needs some minor amenities like trash cans and benches which should be installed in 2023.
