Good course for beginners. As the name implies this is a course you can run. A nice map at the start and clear hole maps on each tee box make navigation a breeze. No tall grass or hazards to lose your disc is a nice feature. Not a very challenging course and not a lot of opportunities to ace unless you have a rocket arm. Hole #8 is pretty cool though.

The trees on this course seem to be growing nicely, and it will continue to get more challenging as they do. The western Nebraska wind can be enough to make this course hard. The signage was a little confusing to me. I especially remember the "tunnel hole" referencing a mando that I couldn't see. Also, where 9 said the pin was, was not where I found it.

I've heard they might make this course an 18, and if they do, I hope they make use of the slope out of the valley to the south of WNCC for the back 9. I think the elevation changes would make this good course a great one.

I also noticed little solar powered lights on the pads and pins, made me wish I had some glow discs. Nice touch.

Can't wait to play it again.

Good course. First few holes are a bit repetative, but what are you gonna do? Good open shots in the middle. Learn to use a straddle putt as it seems most of your shots will be near trees. Wind is a factor, but no more than what I play with in Cheyenne. Very technical course so If you just want to come out and chuck a bunch of discs for distance go somewhere else. Everything should be a par 3 but theres a few gimmies out there, which is good for beginner players. Would recommend bringing someone to play with you for an extra set of eyes when the trees get hungry.

I'm slightly biased in that this is the only course within 20 miles, that being said, this should be a tight little course in a few more years. What was a very straightforward course 5 years ago has become a little more difficult with the growing trees. In another 5 years, some holes will be very tricky. The wind usually plays a big part and can make it much more difficult than it should be. Expect errant shots to come nail-bitingly close to the nearby expensive homes.
