The Porter on the Lake course is now barren after twenty trees were cut down. Hole one is less guarded and challenging, the tree by hole six's tee is gone and you can throw straight at the basket, and hole nine is wide open once you turn the corner. The dead trees were a hazard, but it seems as though they went overboard.
