About this tournament
4 rounds of play
The 2025 WYOPEN disc golf tournament.
August 16 and August 17. 2 day 4 round disc golf tournament. Tentative plan is to play 2-rounds of 21 holes at both Romero disc golf course and Clear creek disc golf course in Cheyenne. Then on Sunday we will play 2 rounds of 13 holes each at both Romero and Clear Creek disc golf courses on modified courses. For both rounds on Sunday, the courses will be a mix of shorter and longer holes, consistent with how the course normally plays. We are not turning the 18 holes int 13 holes and having it be extremely long distances. This is a C-tier event in Cheyenne. 85% payout for pros. Am players will receive players pack and a prizes for top 40%
-Friday Doubles. 6pm start Doubles at Clear creek disc golf course. check in 515-545. This is non-sanctioned, Tournament, layout, preview, random doubles,
- Saturday check in at tournament tables near hole 1 at Romero disc golf course from 9-935. Players meeting at 945 and round 1 will start tentatively at 10. Juniors can play shortened layout or the full layout. Second round will be after the lunch break and will be at clear creek disc golf courses.

The tournament will be a shotgun start. Scoring will be on PDGA. all PGA rules apply and no 2 m rule. All course notes will be on PDGA
We will have Awards after round 2. We will also have a throw off for the ace money if no ace is it hit during the tournament.
Goals for event: Make the event as awesome as we can for all the participants. Grow disc golf in communities around WY. We are working to get more sponsors for the event.
