Want to play in a mixed triples tournament, raise money for a good cause, AND spend a day remembering an amazing person who left this Earth way too soon? On 11/11/17 we will be doing just that at Rapscallion Disc Golf Course to remember Zachary T. Adams.

This tradition started in 2014 with an auction charity tournament at Hyland Orchard. Zach's brother wanted to get his friends and family to create a day of playing disc golf and remembering ZTA all while raising money for Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. Zach loved playing disc golf and got many of his friends into it as well. Josh Gibson, Matt Oleski, Shaun LaForce, Laura Dyson, Mark Dombek, and Pam Beaudry are just some of the people that learned about disc golf from Zach and helped run the first tournament in his memory. Sadly Zach lost his battle with lymphoma in 2003 at they very young age of 22. He helped spread his love of disc golf to his friends and family and their lives have changed by learning this incredible game. So each year his friends and family will hold a disc golf event to remember what a positive and genuine person he was.

This year we are holding a mixed triples tournament on 11/11/17 at Rapscallion DGC in Sturbridge, MA. The teams will be mixed triples, there must be at least one female on each team and every team is playing in the same division. Entry per team is $100, with $50 going to Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, and $50 towards payouts. There is only room for 28 teams and this is going to fill fast! One person signs up their team and you will need a team name, and email contacts for each member of your group, so start planning now! Registration opens on October 6th at 8:00PM on Disc Golf Scene.
