Young At Heart 14! Family Disc Golf Experience
Make your reservations for Sunday, October 11 2026, for a day of Family Fun and Disc Golf!
This will be the fourteenth year for this awesomely fun event brought to you by Mint Discs and TX Junior DG.
It will be held at the "Best Little Disc Golf Course In Texas" ~ The Flying Armadillo Disc Golf Club!
- the longest hole is 150ft and the shortest is 77ft
- it's PERFECT for family fun and growing the sport of disc golf
The criteria for this event will be Teams of: 1 Parent/Adult and 1 Child
The inspiration for this is the opportunity for kids and their parents/adult family to play a disc golf round together. Too many times we go to events and never get to relax with our kids or show them why we love the sport so much. Here is your way to make it a lifetime memory and lifetime sport for your family.
Details:
- 1 Round of 18 Holes
- 1 Parent/Family Adult and 1 Child will make up a Team
- Doubles Event with Alternating Throws for each Team
- Team Divisions will be determined by the YOUNGER person's age - AS OF THE DATE OF THE EVENT, October 11, 2026.
1st place team trophies will be awarded to each division winners!

You Will Register/Play The Division According To The Child's/Younger-Team-Member's Age - (age as of October 11, 2026)
Division/Age Groups:
Up to 5 years
6 yrs to 8 yrs
9 yrs to 11 yrs
12 yrs to 14 yrs
15 yrs to 17 yrs
18+ yrs (Some of you older Parent/Child teams need some bonding time too)
REGISTRATION: Begins August 1. 2026
TIME: Check-in and Late Registration (if spots still available) starts at 12:30 pm October 11 /Tee off likely around 1:15 - 1:30 pm
If you have more than one child and would like them to participate; still register them as another team. If you do not have another "adult" family member for them as a partner (uncles and aunts work well too!), we will try our best to get your youth a partner so you can still be together and play! Be sure to let us know if you need someone.
SPONSORS NEEDED (we have no criteria, but we will accept it all for the event to help our raffle, prizes, and payout) The more you donate the more the kids get!
This is a great opportunity to introduce someone new to the sport, make it a family day for everyone, spend time with youngsters, and make memories that will last.
