About this tournament
2 rounds of play
An unsanctioned BYOP doubles two round tournament at one of the best courses in Maryland! $10 from each team's entry fee will be donated to the Fredrock Disc Golf Club, with the rest going straight to payouts! Top 25% of each division will be paid out, and with the event being unsanctioned, payouts will be higher than normal. Payout edit: Top 25% unless there's a small number of teams in that divsion, then we will use best judgement for that particular divison. No player packs for this event either, further increasing the payouts. Please pick the division that seems most appropriate for your team, the event is meant to be as fun as possible. Scoring will be on U-Disc Live.

Two CTP's each round. Ace Pot will be joined with the Fredrock Disc Golf Club's Ace Pot. The total of the Ace Pot will be announced the morning of the tournament.
Round 1: Open/Am - All Holes Blue Tees to White Baskets :: Mixed - Red Tees to White Baskets
21 Holes Best Shot (Best Shot is by far the most popular doubles format. Both players throw from each lie (starting with the tee shot), then the team chooses which of the resulting lies to continue play from, until the hole is completed.) 21st hole to be a temporary hole only available on day of tournament.
Lunch:
Bring your own lunch. Hopefully in future events like this, I'll be able to figure out lunch being on location, but trying to keep it as simple as possible for this one.
Round 2: All Holes Red Tees to Yellow Baskets
Holes 1 - 7 Tough Shot (In Tough Shot, both players throw from each lie (starting with the tee shot), then the competing team in the group choose which of the subsequent lies will be used, with the aim of making the hole as difficult as possible. Only one player on the team needs to hole out for the team to complete the hole.)
Holes 8 - 14 Alternate Shot (Only one sequence of throws is made on each hole. The team selects a player to throw the tee shot at the beginning of the round. The other player then throws from the subsequent lie, and play alternates in that fashion until the round is completed. Alternate Shot is closer to a singles format, where one partner can't bail the other out. Whichever team member holes out cannot throw the tee shot on the next hole.)
Holes 15 - 21 Best Shot. 21st hole to be a temporary hole only available on day of tournament.
Post Event/Pre Awards Fundraiser:
Once all cards have been turned in after the final round, there will be a CTP Fundraiser for the Fredrock Disc Golf Club. Teams will compete together for the CTP prize. Each member of the team will throw at a basket with target circles around it. The winner will be decided by which teammates can both be the closest to the basket.
100% of entry fees will be used towards payouts and tournament costs (city fee, etc). 100% of anything marked as donation will be given to Fredrock Disc Golf Club or used for expenses for the donation activity.
