About this tournament

Thank you for supporting the Disc Golf Club at NC State! This tournament is a similar format to the ones we play for College Disc Golf and we hope you enjoy it as much as we do! The cost per team is $120, which comes down to $30 per person for your four person teams. Each player will receive a custom stamped Disc Golf Club at NC State Innova disc as their player pack. All division team and singles winners will receive a custom trophy made by our very own Justin Haynes! There is no cash payout for the Open divisions.

Singles Round: This tournament will consist of two rounds. A singles round and a team round. The singles round will be the first round of the day and everyone will play all 18 holes from the All Star Layout. At the conclusion of the singles round, your team's singles scores will be averaged together to count as your team's score for that round. For instance, if the four players on your team shoot 58, 60, 56, and 62, your team will have ONE score of 59.

Team Round: The team round will begin one hour after the conclusion of the singles round and all teams will play the long tees. The way team rounds will work is as follows: Teams are a group of four. Players 1 and 2 are partners, and players 3 and 4 are partners. Players 1 and 2 will tee off on all of the odd holes and players 3 and 4 will tee off on all of the even holes. For example, on the odd holes players 1 and 2 will tee off, players 3 and 4 will play from the better drive, and the pairs will alternate until the hole is complete. This format is complicated to understand at first and I apologize if I did not explain it well. I will go over the format again at the player's meeting.

FPO is currently listed as registering in teams of two players and will play the standard doubles format for the team round. If enough women are interested we can change it to the College Disc Golf team format.
