About this tournament
2 rounds of play
Hellwood Putting League is played through the rooms and passageways through Hell’s Gate Haunted House. This is a one-of-a kind league that will challenge, entertain and keep you sharp in the winter months!

There will be 18 putting stations set up throughout the haunted house, you take 3 putts at each station. Bring a minimum of 3 putters to use.
Two rounds through the course each night with a 30 min break in between.
Each putt made = 1 point.
Cash payouts at the end of every night!
New this year are 5 new, more fair divisions!
Purple - <800 PDGA Rating or Beginner
Green - 801-849 PDGA Rating, MA4 or Novice Player
Red - 850-899 PDGA Rating, MA3 or Recreational Player
White - 900-934 PDGA Rating, MA2 or Intermediate Player
Blue - 935+ PDGA Rating, MA1 or Advanced Player
If you are unsure on what division to play please reach out and we will help you select the division that best suits you!
This is an overall points series league, meaning your points accrue every week! There will be overall trophies at the end of the league.
2026 Dates: 1/9, 1/16, 1/23, 1/30, 2/6, 2/13, 2/20, 2/27
Concessions will be available (food, pop, beer, mixed drinks). No outside food or drink.
No bags or carts allowed, bring at least 3 putters. No caddies or friends (only participants will be allowed in) No smoking of any kind indoors, there will be a designated area outside. There will be specific warm up baskets available before the league starts. No entry to the course until the league begins. No haunted house actors will be on site. The temperature indoors will be around 50 degrees so plan accordingly.
Registration will open every Tuesday at 7pm for that Friday’s league.
Total cost is $25 per player.
When you sign up on Disc Golf Scene you will pay $10 plus Disc Golf Scene Fees to hold your spot.
When you arrive at Hellwood you will pay the remaining $15 IN CASH ONLY, there is no ATM on site! So make sure you bring cash!
Check in from 6:00pm-6:45pm
If you arrive after 6:45pm YOU WILL NOT PLAY.
First Round Tee Off at 7pm
There are 120 spots available. DO NOT show up to Hellwood if you are not pre-registered!
Where does the money go? $10 to Hell’s Gate Haunted House, $10 to payouts, $4 to Greater Joliet Tour Season Fund, $1 to Hot Putter.
The Greater Joliet Tour Season Fund is money that will all go back to the players throughout the 2026 Greater Joliet Tour Season.
What is Hot Putter? Every week we choose 6 holes, if you make all three putts at all 6 pre-determined stations you win the Hot Putter Payout. This is similar to an Ace Pot. If multiple people get hot putter it will be split, if no one gets hot putter it will roll over into the following week.
