Wiregrass/Emerald Coast club Sunday Fun Day Doubles
About this tournament
Random draw doubles / best shot format.
Winning team takes 50% of the payout.
2nd place team takes 35%.
3rd place team takes 15%.
If you are not a member of Elk Grove, there is a $5 “Day pass” option you will need to select while registering.
Those that fail to select this option will be contacted.
This is a private community funded course on a 116 Acre Elk Ranch (so there are a few dozen domesticated Elk on the land. Please be respectful of the property and the Elk.)
Please consider paying in advance or day of the event for the optional CTP and Ace pot
— $3 CTP (3 different cash CTP’s and atleast two prize CTP’s as of right now). More people that register, the more CTP’s there will be.
— $2 Ace pot (throw off if no ace is hit)
479 Hubbard Rd Newton, AL 36352 is the location of Elk Grove Disc Golf course.
Parking located behind the white stable barn with the black roof. When you arrive at the fork in the driveway where you can either turn right to go to the main house (Log Cabin with red metal roof), make the left instead, pull through the wooded driveway up and around to the parking area at the stable barn.
Big Mike, asked about the ECDGC being able to play Elk Grove. We decided to do something fun together and give people the opportunity to play!
The course is not open to the public yet due to some setbacks with the property owner looking to sell the land, we are in the process of buying it. That being said, the course does not have the permanent tee pads, signs, and baskets put in. We do have quality baskets set up and the course is fully playable and trackable though Udisc right now!
When we open it will be $20 day passes for non members and we will likely eventually open it to more memberships. For this random doubles event it will be $5 day passes for non-members, with the option to use that as credit towards the purchase of a membership for anyone that plays.
