Winter Wizards 16
About this tournament
Welcome to Winter Wizards!
Due to COVID-19 restrictions we may need to do tee times with live feed awards ceremony and raffle. We will know better as we get closer to the date.
This putter only competition is in it's 16th year. Each player receives 2 discs with their players pack.
You may purchase additional wizards for $10 each or diamond plastic for $20. You must throw one of these Wizards for every shot of the entire tournament. Throwing any other disc other than the WW16 stamped Wizard will result in immediate disqualification.
100% Cash Payout to all Divisions. All divisions will have trophies on the line. Stepping up a division is highly encouraged because the playing field will be much more level with short holes and Wizards only.
New this year is Super Open division. $100 entry for the big dogs who really want to get after the money.
Hoodies will be PREORDER only this year. Available during checkout or you can message me using the "contact tournament staff" button above to place your order.
Winter Wizards is a fun tournament. It is not sanctioned and is in a city park this year. City law prohibits drinking and smoking in the park.
2 days with 1 round of 33 holes on Saturday and 1 round of 33 holes on Sunday at Riverpark Disc Golf Course in Riverdale, UT. We are setting up the course to have to play though all 33 holes at once this year.
You will pick your own groups, maximum of 6 and minimum of 3 players per group.
Only out of bounds is river, pond or swamp.
If your disc is surrounded by water it is OB. Take a stroke and throw from where is went OB, group consensus.
If any division receives less than 3 competitors all players will need to bump to another division of their choice.
Please follow ALL state and local mandates for COVID-19.
Follow current PDGA rules for competition.

Riverpark has been a part of northern Utah disc golf for almost 20 years. Founded in 2003 it started out with just a few home made baskets and a handful of supporting members. At its peak there were 36 holes, it has 22 permanent baskets installed, and had 3 tee pads for each hole. All done through volunteer work and fundraisers. Beside the natural growth and death of a woodland forest it has seen a few fires and a tornado which made it an ever changing course.
Now our time is getting close to its end. There will be a bridge built that will connect the current parking lot to the roundabout next to Walmart. Also, the property to the south has been sold and will be developed. There is not a for sure timeline on these events, however it is looking like they will be breaking ground to build the bridge this year. This will forever change the face of Riverpark if not erase it completely. NUDGA owns all the baskets and tee pads and will be looking for a new place to call home.
