About this tournament
1 round of play
This is a one-round, 27-hole, bring-your-own-partners triples event. Format is best shot. There will be warm and cold drinks available and a pizza party (and an ace throw-off if needed) on the stage after the round.
DIVISIONS
There will be four ratings-based divisions. Teams should pick or be placed into a division based on the average PDGA rating of the three members of the team.
RA1 [players avg 950+]
RA2 [players avg < 950] - AND all players must be below 1000
RA3 [players avg < 875] - AND all players must be below 925
RA4 [players avg < 800] - AND all players must be below 850
Players who do not have a PDGA rating can estimate their approximate rating based on their average round score at Westy Acres using this table:
-5 on Blue layout: 1010 rating
Par on Blue layout: 960 rating
-5 on White layout: 935 rating
Par on White layout: 900 rating
-5 on Red layout: 850 rating
Par on Red layout: 820 rating
+5 on Red layout: 770 rating
LAYOUTS
RA1, RA2†, RA3† - 27 Hole White
RA4 - 27 Hole Red
†Note that individual players in the RA2, and RA3 divisions rated 800 or lower (roughly par on reds) can play from Red tees.

Card and tee assignments can be found on UDisc a few days before the event.

Please go directly to the stage and check-in when you arrive on site.
SCORING
Scoring will be done on UDisc. It is recommended that players have at least the free version of UDisc installed on their device.
ACE POT
The ace pot is $305. If the ace pot is not hit during regular play, a throw-off will occur after the round. Each ace hit during the throw-off will be worth $50 until the ace pot is exhausted.
REFRESHMENTS
We will have a warming fire plus hot chocolate, cider, and snacks available all day.
After the the round, we will have pizza and drinks on the stage. There will be vegetarian and gluten-free options.

Friends of Westy Acres is responsible for all refunds/cancellations. This is not a PDGA sanctioned event, but for all refunds we follow the PDGA Policy in 1.03 of the Competition Manual (https://www.pdga.com/rules/competition-manual/103).
