About this tournament

Westival The Festival (WTF) is a private INVITE ONLY event for the Franklin County Disc Golf Community. This is our end of season gathering to help us celebrate another successful year packed with leagues, tournaments, and shenanigans.
Invitations for registration will be heading out Saturday August 16th. This is an unsanctioned two round singles tournament, one on Saturday 9/13 and one on Sunday 9/14. There will also be a glow tournament Saturday night, as well as flex tournaments all weekend long on our newly installed putter course, and also on a minis only course. Camping is not only encouraged but included in your reg!

This is NOT open to the public for registration. Invitees will receive an email informing them they are cleared to register.

Tournament Rounds
This is a two day, two round, shotgun start event. UNSANCTIONED! So, you can expect some fun silly layout changes, safari holes, and various other surprises. We will NOT be using Udisc for scoring, old school, paper and pencil. No checking to see how everyone shot until you’re done.

Layouts

Glow Tournament
We will hold a 13 hole glow tournament Saturday night promptly at sundown, ran by Seth. Trophies will be handmade tournament themed glow in the dark minis for first through third place!

Putter Course Tournament
We will be having a flex tournament all weekend long on our putter course, you can play it twice, and we'll take your best score. Handmade trophies for 1st-3rd!

Mini Course Tournament
We will also be having a flex tournament all weekend long on our mini basket course, play it twice, we'll take your best score. Handmade trophies for 1st-3rd!

While the actual tournament will not be scored on Udisc, the putter and mini flex WILL be using Udisc for scoring.

Camping
We cannot emphasize enough that we want you to camp. We will be closing Tournament holes 17 and 18 and setting them up as our camping area. That's right, no need to camp down at the farm for this one, we'll all be hanging right by the stage, all weekend long. Camping is included in your registration. Due to the September flex being Friday the 12th, set up for camping can not begin until 7:45 or later.
Car campers, small campers, RVs and Vans will be setting up both in front of the stage, and behind it. Please do not drive down the fairways of 17 and 18.
Tent campers can park in the lot, walk in, and feel free to set up wherever you want on those 2 holes.

Players Packs
All participants will receive a baseball hat with the tournament logo (Designed by Ben Drogue) printed on it.

Payouts
We will payout the top 40% of each division. Pros play for cash, AMs will play for Westy Bucks. Westy bucks can be converted to store credit at The Disc Golf Center if you so choose.

Trophies
1st - 3rd place trophies for divisions with 8 or more for the regular tournament, however if the divisions end up small enough we will adjust accordingly so all divisions get something no matter what.

1 Grand Champion Trophy, this goes to the person with the best combined score from all the events of the weekend. You get to keep it for a year, and return it for WTF 2026

Extras
We're working on a few extra fun things like some live music, maybe a cornhole tournament, food/cookout, etc. So Stay tuned for more details as we approach the event.

Note
Wendie and I reserve the right to combine divisions to make it easier for trophy ordering, and to make it so everyone has someone to play against. Your tee pad will not change.

If you received an invitation to register for this fun, one of a kind event, that means you are a part of large crew of people who all do their part to help us bring the best Westy can offer year after year. This is our way to celebrate together the magic we create time and time again at the place we all love so much. If you receive an invitation to register and cannot attend, please let AJ, Wendie, or Westy know ASAP.
