The West Virginia Cup Info
Teams of 4 Consisting of:
1 Pro (Any rating, can be an Am)
1 Advanced (True Am, rating < 975)
1 Intermediate (True Am, rating < 935)
And one player that is either;
- Amateur Woman (rating < 900)
or
- Amateur Junior (rating < 900)
or
- Amateur Recreational player (rating < 900)

Format
Team Based, 9 hole Match Play
Round 1 - All Teams play each other
Round 2 - Finals; All points are cleared for the Medal Matches
Cash and Prizes to the Top 50% of Teams (Pros get cash, Ams merch)
Round 1 Layouts - Pro and Adv - Long Tees to Red Baskets, Intermediate and Rec - Short Tees to Red Baskets
Finals Layouts - Pro and Adv - Short Tees to Orange/Yellow Baskets, Intermediate and Rec - Short Tees to Red Baskets

(All teams play each other during Round 1 - Ex. Team A Pro plays Team B Pro, Team A ADV plays Team B ADV, Team A INT plays Team B INT ... etc.
If there are 6 Teams then Round 1 will be 5 Matches
If 7 Teams then Round 1 will be 6 Matches ... etc.
If we have 10+ Teams Pools will be created

Win = 1 point
Draw = 1/2 point
Loss = 0 point
(ties do not "push" during match play like skins)
Match Scoring
Win = 1 point
Draw = 1/2 point

All Points Earned go Towards Your Team Total
Round 1 consists of all teams playing each other. Match points will be tallied during/after Round 1 until completed. This determines the order of Finals: 1st vs 2nd place match-up, 3rd vs 4th place match-up ... etc. Points from Round 1 do not carry over to the Finals.

The purpose of the Seth Burton Memorial, Inc. (DBA Fairmont Flyers Disc Golf Club) is to promote the development of disc golf in Marion County, West Virginia through organization, cooperation and competition. Organize and coordinate the efforts of members to increase the quality and quantity of disc golf activities in the area. Provide information on disc golf to educate our members and the community on the enjoyment and benefits of disc golf. The purposes for which SBM, Inc. is formed are exclusively charitable, scientific or educational within the meaning of 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended (the “Code.”)
