For those who are new to the tournament world, a sanctioned tournament is recognized as an Official PDGA event. Players are required to follow all PDGA guidelines and official rules. At the end of the event, scores are reported to the PDGA. Players with an active PDGA membership receive points that are used to qualify for major events based upon their ranking within in their division. Player ratings are also affected.

PDGA Junior Memberships (and renewals) are $30 annually. Memberships purchased AFTER October 1 carry over into the next calendar year. Memberships purchased prior to October 1 will expire at the end of the calendar year.

PDGA MEMBERSHIP is NOT REQUIRED to participate in Junior sanctioned events.
TOURNAMENT DETAILS
This event will be taking place over two evenings due to limited daylight.
All divisions will play one 18-hole round per evening. MJ/FJ 15+ will play standard course layout. All other divisions will have shortened tee pads on Holes 2, 9 & 15. Mandos will be enforced. OB will be enforced and announced during virtual players meeting.
FLEX START & MIXED CARDS
Not sure you can make it to the course by 5? Don’t sweat it… we’re doing a flex start with mixed cards to ensure we get everyone through. As you arrive, you’ll be carded with a minimum of two other players and sent out. In the event of two player card, the TD will assign a volunteer staff member to oversee round and make any discretionary votes such as whether a disc is in/out of bounds, foot faults, etc.

REGISTRATION & CHECK-IN
Online registration is open and available until 5 PM on 10/12. Walk up registration is available until Wednesday 10/13 at 4:45 pm; space permitting.
To save time, a “partial” online check-in will be available and encouraged. A link will be emailed to all pre-registered players at 5:00 PM on Tuesday, October 12. Players and parents should check all spellings and information closely to ensure accuracy. Players are still required to check-in each day at tournament central for card assignments.
All players must be completely checked in and assigned to a card received a card assignment no later than 5:45 PM on Wednesday and 5:30 PM on Thursday. We encourage all players to arrive as early as possible. Remember, the sun sets just after 7 pm.
ALL SCORES MUST BE SUBMITTED TO TOURNAMENT CENTRAL NO LATER THAN 8:10 PM on WEDNESDAY and 7:45 PM on THURSDAY.
AWARDS & PRIZES
This is a trophy plaque only event. Plaques will be awarded to the top two finishers. No cash or merchandise prizes for tournament finish will be awarded. However, there will be prizes for CTPs, long drives, long putts and more!
All event proceeds benefit the WMYDGC Scholarship Fund which has supplied over 300 free discs to kids in West Michigan. Your support and donations are always appreciated.
CTPs, long drives, long putts are a given with a WMYDGC Event … plus there are other opportunities to win prizes throughout the course. Feeling Acey? Run everything! Smash an Ace and win big! #GD
PLAYERS PACKS
Players packs include a t-shirt, water bottle, snacks, beverages and other goodies. Unfortunately, due to industry shortages, discs will not be included in the players pack. In lieu of discs, we are providing a WMYDGC t-shirt or merchandise item. Selection and sizes are limited.
Player pack pick up is available at Tournament Central between 4:00 PM on Wednesday and 6:30 PM on Thursday.
