Wes Barber Fundraiser Info:
As many of you know, Wes & his brother were murdered a couple of weeks ago in Florida. Wes lived in Kentucky and played events all over the country. Odds are you have played a tournament last year, and Wes was probably at it. The purpose of this fundraiser is to show the Barber family our support, and Larry & I are teaming up with the help of all of you.
The event will be held at Arrowhead DGC on Friday, March 15th, at 5:00 pm. Wes enjoyed the Friday night league at Arrowhead, so it's fitting. we honor him by having the fundraiser on a Friday.
Entry Fee: $40
-$20 to the fundraiser
-$5 to ace pool
-$5 to 50/50 CTP
-$10 to payouts
1:5 Teams Will Cash
If no aces are hit, then 50% will go to the fundraiser, and 50% will go to the winner of a throw-off. We will also have many CTPs, including discs, Woodford & gift cards.
Larry & I are also going to personally pay for pizzas & bottle waters for everyone.
Format: Random Draw doubles over 25 holes.
The event is limited to 40 people, so we will be using DGS for registration. You will pay cash the day of the fundraiser. If you can't play but would like to donate, I've set it up where you can via DGS. Go to the event page and registrar under "RAG" and you'll see several options of amounts you can pick to donate and pay there.
Since this is at Arrowhead DGC, the normal carpool rules still apply, so please do not show up at the course.
Larry & I truly thank all of you, and this event will be a celebration of Wes and his love for disc golf.
