About this tournament
1 round of play
This league will be at the Urban Forest disc golf course in Spanish Fork. Meet in the open area north of #1 tee pad at least 10 minutes prior to your Tee Time.
You will need: Discs, Mini, Device for keeping score. Come have a great time and have a great round!
I will be getting out early to make sure tee pads are shoveled and safe. If it's snowy and you are able to help please do so.
Due to limited parking and Covid concerns we must change this league to a Tee Time format. When you register you will select your desired Tee Time and your card will begin on hole 1 at that time. Cards must have at least 3 players. Please utilize the facebook group to find additional players if needed. I may have to combine cards and tee times after Registration closes.
$1 Entry Fee - Required
$5 Winner Pool - Each division will have their own pool - Optional
$2 CTP - Optional.
$2 Ace Pot - Optional. Currently at $198
CTP will be on hole #11 for this week
In this format, we will not be able to play for tags as an overall group. The easiest thing would be to just compete for tags within your card. You can compete for tags across cards if everyone on those cards agrees and you can work out the transfer of tags amongst yourselves.
If you do not have a tag you can purchase one at Birdcage.
This will be a sanctioned league so if you have a PDGA membership make sure to give me your PDGA number. PDGA membership is not required but if you want to have your round rated you can sign up at https://www.pdga.com/membership/select.
Everyone will be placed in a division and will stay in that division for the entire League. Let me know which division you will be signing up for. If you are not familiar with PDGA divisions you can review them at https://www.pdga.com/divisions
If you are not familiar with PDGA rules please take the time to refresh to avoid taking penalty shots.
We will be using PDGA Live Scoring for this league. I will also have physical cards if they are needed.
OBs/Mandos:
Walking Path and beyond is OB surrounding the entire course.
4) Double Mando. Must throw between the trees.
10) Mando Tree next to walking path. Must throw to the left of that tree.
11) Mando tree on right. Must throw to the left of that tree.
17) Two Mando trees on the right by walking path. Must throw to the left of both trees.
18) Mando tree on right. Must throw to the left of the tree.
If OB, take a lay where you were last in bounds.
If you miss a mando, the DZ is in line with the tree. Can take 2 meters from the trunk.
Lost Disc:
You have 3 minutes to find your disc starting at the time you start searching. Everyone on the card should help search. After 3 minutes the disc is considered lost. Return to the previous lie with 1 penalty throw.
