This is a one round bring-your-own-partner best shot (captain's choice) doubles tournament.

Each player will receive a USDGC Doubles stamped premium plastic Innova disc as a player’s pack item (regardless of division).

The top teams in the MA1 and FA1 divisions will receive invites to the USDGC Amateur Doubles Championship event held in Rock Hill, SC the week before USDGC. The number of qualifier spots will depend on the final number of entrants (see below). Teams are responsible for determining their own USDGC Amateur Doubles eligibility (see below). Please note the registration will close Monday 3/17 so players packs can be ordered from Innova. We will not be able to accept registrations the day of the event!

Entry
The cost per team is $36.
Fee Breakdown: $10/team to Highland Brewing for use of the course & continued course maintenance + $26/team for players packs and shipping.

Scoring
Scoring for this event will take place on UDisc events, as the round will not be PDGA sanctioned (to keep costs down).

Layout
Layout posted in the pictures section and will be on UDisc.
MA1 - Holes 1-18 with a mixture of short and longs
FA1 - Holes 1-18 playing the shortest concrete tee to basket available.
Layout is subject to change based on basket color/position/etc.

Playoffs
In the event of a tie for a playoff position, tied teams will play a sudden victory playoff on holes 1, 2, 10, & 12 on repeat

Qualifier Spots:
The number of qualifier spots will depend on the final number of entrants:
MA1
1-14 Teams = 1 Team qualifies
15-24 Teams = 2 Teams qualify
25+ Teams = 3 Teams qualify

FA1
1-4 Teams = 1 Team qualifies
5-9 Teams = 2 Teams qualify
10+ Teams – 3 Teams qualify

Eligibility:
All players must meet one of the following criteria to be eligible to compete in the USDGC Amateur Doubles Main event:
•The Player is not a PDGA member or does not have a player rating and has never accepted cash in a PDGA event.
•The player has an Amateur Player Classification with the PDGA - meaning the player is classified as an amateur and plays in amateur divisions for prizes instead of cash. If a player plays in a Pro division and accepts cash at any time, they become classified as a Professional member. An Amateur class player has either never accepted cash, or if they have, they have later met the criteria to be reclassified from Professional back to Amateur with the PDGA.
•A mixed group of pro and am-class players is not allowed.
•Players who qualify as a team must play together as a team in the main event. No substitutions, no exceptions.

Players thar are not eligible to participate in USDGC Amateur Doubles Main Event are welcome to play the qualifier anyways! If you are not eligible for USDGC Doubles (Pro classification, etc) you are welcome to register, receive a disc, and compete in the event-- please register in the "NON" division. Your finishing position will not be considered when awarding USDGC Doubles bids.
