About this tournament
2 rounds of play
Please join us on Sunday, March 17th for MoRE March Madness. This is a sanctioned C-Tier playing two 18-hole rounds at River's Edge Disc Golf Course in Rushville, Indiana. This event is part of the Wintry Indiana Frozen Fundraiser Series (WIFFS). We will be using the newly created Black layout for this event which features new holes over the levee and along the river.
This tournament will proudly support MoRE for Kids. MoRE for Kids (Mentors of Rush County Empowering Youth) operates under the belief that every child has the ability to succeed and thrive in life. We make meaningful, monitored matches between adult volunteers and children, ages 6 through 16. We develop positive relationships that have a direct and long-lasting effect on the lives of our mentees, mentors and volunteers. For more information on this wonderful community asset, visit: https://moreforkids.org/
All WIFFS events are PDGA Sanctioned C-tiers through the Competition Endowment Program, so there is no $10 non-member fee.
Amateurs will be playing for trophy-only and receiving a WIFFS stamped disc as player pack. Pros will be playing for cash payout after donation is taken out of entry.
Registration Options:
$5 Ace Pool (if no aces are hit, pool will be donated)
$5 CTPs (one CTP each round for all players, each CTP pays 25% of the pot, remaining 50% goes to MoRE)
$50 Hole Sponsorship (show your business and/or family's support)
$10 Donation (donate directly to MoRE)
SERIES FORMAT
Each player will get points based on the percentage of players in the event they beat, max of 90 points.
Each player will also receive 10 points for participating, for a total of 100 possible points per event.
Player's top 10 performances plus all participation points earned will count toward end of series awards.
Series trophies will be presented to the winners of the following divisions at the end of the W.I.F.F.S. Series:
MPO, MA1, MA2, MA3, MA4, MA40, MA50, MA60, Juniors, and Womens
