About this tournament

The Ladies of Central Oregon DGC are pleased to announce they will be hosting this year’s Women's Global Event the Honey Huck at Dry Canyon Disc Golf Course in Redmond on Sunday May 9, 2021!

The Honey Huck will be a part of the overall PDGA Women’s Global Event, the largest women’s disc golf tournament in the world! At our satellite event in Redmond, your scores will be tallied and compared to other women around the world in your respected division. This event is open to all skill levels with a division for everyone with no PDGA membership required! This year’s WGE goal is to get at least 3,000+ women playing on this Mother’s day weekend! So, let’s do it!

Treat yourself by ordering a commemorative players pack for $22 it includes 2 discs, an Innova disc and a Dynamic Discs Judge, with the WGE logo. You'll also receive a WGE pin, towel, scorecard, pencil and canvas bag.

Deadline to order your players packs is April 14, 2021.

For our scores to be eligible to compete in the WGE we must play 2 rounds of 18 holes. Both rounds must be played in the the same layout. Because of our unique layout in Redmond we will be playing 4 rounds of 9 holes to the short basket placements. Juniors will play 2 rounds of 9 for a total of 18 holes.

We will use a flex start format with our first group teeing off at 10am in 10 minute increments. All players will start on hole 1 and play in groups of 3 or 4. We will send the next group out 10 min later. We will continue sending groups out until everyone has completed playing 36 holes.

We will tally your scores and send them into the WGE results page. You’ll get to see how you stack up against women from around the world. Women's Global Event winners will be announced on May 18 in an article featured on the front page of PDGA.com and throughout the WGE social media pages. If you have any questions about the WGE check out www.pdga.com/wge

I encourage all skill levels of ladies and juniors to come join us and play disc golf on this historical weekend. Bring the entire family and enjoy a fun filled day with us!
