The PDGA requires all players on a card to keep score. If you do not have a digital device to keep score, a paper scorecard will be provided to you at Tournament Central. If you keep a paper scorecard, you will be required to turn it in to the TD directly after the conclusion of each round. There are no exceptions to this rule. A player who refuses to keep score is subject to disqualification. All players are responsible for reconciling and submitting their copy of the scorecard within 30 minutes of when their group finishes their round. A player who has not submitted their scorecard on time receives two penalty throws without exception.

Each division with at least 5 players (before March 10) will receive a 1st, 2nd & 3rd place trophy. Divisions with less than 5 players will receive 1st Place Trophies ONLY. (Professional Divisions will receive 1st Place trophies ONLY. All other cash goes to payout.) This is a True Amateur Event and Amateur players will receive players packs worth more than their entry fee.



Play in the Global Women's Event

To be a part of the 2026 WGE, just register to play in a local PDGA sanctioned tournament that is part of the WGE.
For an event to be included in the 2026 WGE, it will have "WGE" in the title of the event and it will be between the dates of May 15 - 25.

The PDGA has waived all temporary membership and player fees for all WGE divisions at this global event so that it is more accessible for new players. Please note that if a WGE event is sanctioned at B-Tier or above, membership requirements still apply. The TD also needs to set this up on their Disc Golf Scene event.

About the WGE
Inaugurated in 2012, this biennial event continues to break records as the largest PDGA event for a single demographic within the sport of disc golf. The idea is that no woman is playing alone (even if she is the only woman playing at her local tournament) as women all over the world are playing with her that day.

The 2026 WGE will now incorporate two full weekends to accommodate busy schedules and with the hope that every woman and girl get the chance to play.

How It Works
Women from all around the world play two rounds of disc golf at their local participating PDGA Women's Global Event. Scores from the first two rounds of each participating tournament are submitted by the individual tournament directors and rated by the PDGA. These round ratings are averaged to determine the player's "Global Score." The global results are updated throughout the event to determine our PDGA Women’s Global Event Champions, and the winner in each division will receive a memorable trophy.

In order to generate ratings, each layout in each round must be at least 13 holes and must have at least three ratings propagators playing. Propagators are players whose player ratings are shown in bold typeface on the event results page. If desired, you can recruit players to play a given layout in order to create ratings or help make the ratings more accurate. This is especially useful for juniors layouts, since most juniors will not be propagators themselves. Any players who you recruit to serve as propagators should be aware that these are real rounds that will be included in their history and count toward their player rating.

*Note: Junior divisions age 12 and under will have only one round included into the overall PDGA Women’s Global Event. If they play multiple rounds, only their first round will count to the Global leaderboard.
