Washtenaw County Glow is hosting Daywalker Doubles on Saturday May 21st at beautiful Independence Lake County Park. Instead of playing in the dark, see what goes on during the daylight hours.

This is a Bring Your Own Partner (BYOP) Doubles event hosted by WC Glow. Money raised from this event will allow us to make efforts at improving courses in the local area as well as afford us the opportunity to continue to offer events at local courses in the future.

The cost is $25/person, $50/team. Please post your names, PDGA# or email address, division, and team name in the talk section here to cashless pre-reg. We want to make sure we can link you to the tournament on DiscGolfScene. This is an unsanctioned event. Player pack item will be available for all Am players. After deducting player pack from your entry, the remainder will go towards division payouts. BOTH pros and AMs will be paid out in cash.

FORMAT
The tournament will include 2 rounds of best-shot doubles. Independence features a beautiful 24-hole layout. Our goal is to play at least one round of 24, with the other round being a minimum of 18 (hopefully 24 as well). There will be plenty of golf to play!

While this isn't a sanctioned event, we will be following PDGA rules and guidelines for best shot doubles, as well as courtesy and sportsmanship." Tournament director/staff reserves the right to place your team in the correct division to prevent “sandbagging.” PDGA rules for doubles can be found here: http://www.pdga.com/rules/rules-for-doubles. You will need to play in the division of the person with the highest rating on your team. For instance, if you have an AM2 rating and your partner has an AM1 rating, then you will be placed in the AM1 division. Of course, you are welcome to play up a division as well. In order to make a division, there needs to be a minimum of 3 teams.

ACE POOL & EXTRAS
Ace Pool and CTPs will be available. Ace pool will payout at 100% for any ace hit in the round. Each ace will count as 1 share….so if 1 ace is hit, that player will receive 100% of the pot. If 2 aces are hit by player A and 1 ace by player B, the split is 2/3 to Player A and 1/3 to Player B. If no one hits the ace pool, we will throw off for it after the final round. 100% of the ace pool will be awarded.
