Some big changes happening, be sure to read carefully!!!
New for 2022, the addition of 2 more spots per team!
Pro Master and Novice!
Each team will now have 9 players.
The lineup and requirements are -
Pro - No rating or classification restriction, anyone can play Pro.
Ladies - No rating or classification restriction, any female is eligible.
Pro Master - No rating or classification restriction, must be 40 yrs old or turn 40 in 2022.
Advanced - Must be a PDGA classified Amateur with a rating less than 970.
Adv Master - Must be a PDGA classified Amateur with a rating less than 935 and be 40 yrs old or turn 40 in 2022.
Intermediate - Must be a PDGA classified Amateur with a rating less than 935
Recreational - Must be a PDGA classified Amateur with a rating less than 900
Novice - Must be a PDGA classified Amateur with a rating less than 850
Wildcard - No classification restriction, must be rated less than 970
Also new for 2022, ALL PLAYERS IN A RATINGS BASED POSITION MUST BE PDGA CURRENT, no exceptions. It is the only fair way to regulate ratings as it is very difficult for captains to confirm a players rating who is not current.
The official ratings update that will be used will be the September 13, 2022 update. This will give captains over 2 months to find players.
Field limited to 12 teams.
Registration opens on discgolfscene at Sept 14 at 8 pm Eastern Time.
Team captains can register their team by clicking the General Entry choice.
Put Team name in "Registrant #1" field. Ignore the PDGA # field.
Be sure to put a good email in.
The only fee to pay is the dgscene fee. Full team entry fees will be paid IN CASH on Saturday morning.
Teams do not need to be set in order to register.
Team captains need to be ready to register as soon as registration opens!! I doubt it will take long to fill, so please stay sharp!!
Once registered, captains may begin the search for players!
Using dgscene is the only fair way to register teams, captains asking me to add them won't work this year, so consider yourself notified.
I will post reminders very often but if you think your captain might forget, be sure to stay on him/her, especially as Sept 14 at 8 pm approaches!!
