Vibram Birdie Bash at Tittabawassee Trails: Sat., May 25 2013!

Trust your rubber! Vibram discs are made with rubber. They are super grippy even when wet and can withstand all the torture that plastic discs do. Vibram is an amazing company promoting disc golf in some amazing ways. They are the official sponsor of the PDGA tour! For those of us who just like to have fun and relax when we play, Vibram has a new tournament format and will be supplying this tournament with everything it needs to be AMAZING. Vibram has given us all the chance to win some great prizes!
The rules for the Vibram Birdie Bash are simple, there are two rounds and scoring is as follows:
Metal Hit (only on 1st and 2nd shots) = 1 point!
Birdie = 2 points!
* Ace = 5 points!
The player with the best score after two rounds chooses his/her grand prize: either a pair of Vibram Five Finger Bikila shoes or a spot on the Vibram Tester Team! The second place finisher gets whichever prize the champion doesn't choose!
Players may only use the two new Vibram discs they receive for entering, no others. You pick heavy or not heavy when you sign up (heavy is 170-175, not heavy is 165-169) Need help choosing a disc? Check out: http://www.vibramdiscgolf.com/flight-ratings.html
The cost of the tournament is $25, which includes your choice of one Vibram putter and one Vibram driver or midrange, and a t-shirt (S-XXL, check the pictures page for the designs - randomly assigned by size). If you can't register online for some reason (want to give me cash), contact me to complete your registration for you. You'll have to get me your money before I'll register you, though. Registration officially closes exactly 1 week prior to the tournament on May 18th, so make sure you sign up early. We will only have one or two extra player packs the day of the event at most!
Tittabawassee Trails is the perfect course for a Birdie Bash! All holes are par 3. Hole 3 will be played from the short tee (no lost discs in the pond). We'll plan to have many additional chances to win Vibram discs (putting contests, CTP, etc.), which will be subject to change with additional sponsors. We will also have ALL the Vibram discs available to field test!
This event is on the Saturday of Memorial weekend, so make sure you can play before signing up!*
