Veterans for Vets sponsored by Dynamic Discs
About this tournament
Following in the footsteps of the Trilogy Challenge, Veterans for Vets is an event designed to meet three goals. First, it gives disc golfers a chance to play in an organized event during the winter months. Second, it provides an awesome environment for a disc golfer without any tournament experience to play in an organized event. Finally, it provides an opportunity for a local disc golf community to raise money that gets returned to that same community to organizations tasked with serving veterans!
The benefactor for this tournament will be Project Lifting Spirits (PLS). This is a local non profit located in Augusta GA. They provide direct support to Active Duty and Veterans and their families locally and abroad. From Fort Gordon to the VA and the Georgia War Veterans Hospital to Servicemen and Women deployed overseas, PLS provides personal care items, clothes, games, food/drink, cards, Christmas presents, care packages, handwritten cards of support and encouragement and even goes the extra mile to families in need.
FORMAT: Bring your own partner DOUBLES. This is a 1 round non-sanctioned tournament.

The first 2 waitlist teams will be invited as stand-by the day of the event. If a player or team does not show up, you will be eligible to play.
REGISTRATION:
Cost is $25 per person, $50 per team.
To simplify the registration process please register both players on your team at the same time. If registering separately, you must ensure the team name is spelled correctly.
Trophies: Dynamic Discs DYEMAX mini markers for 1, 2 and 3 place.
Players Packs:
Each player will receive 2 discs (one baseline putter and one premium midrange/driver). This year Dynamic Discs will send a variety of discs and colors for the player packs. I have ordered 72 so there will be a nice variety to choose from at check in.
Additional Items:
Hole Sponsorships $50: Honor an Active Duty Service Member or Veteran or put your business logo or message on a hole. Hole Sponsors will also have their logo on a banner located at tournament central. Email [email redacted] with your information.
Silent & or Live Auction: Quilt made by Nancy Barnette.
Raffle
Items will be added as they become available.
Limited Edition Lucid-Ice Vandal $20.
CTP: $10 18 holes of prizes. Holes 2 and 8 will be CASH CTP's with a 50/50 split.
ACE: $5 This will be a 50/50 ace pot. If an ACE is hit you will receive half of the ACE Pot. If no ACE is hit the pot will be donated to the cause.
Ring of Fire: $5 GRAND PRIZE $440 VETERAN RED/WHITE/BLUE BASKET
This will be a 25 foot putt. Players will form a circle around the basket and will all putt at the same time. If you make your putt you will advance to the next round(s) until there is only 1 player left. Last player wins! Get your practice on!
