About this tournament
Please feel free to show up the day of and register to play!
Following in the footsteps of the Trilogy Challenge, Veterans for Vets is a new event designed to meet three goals. First, it gives disc golfers a chance to play in an organized event during the winter months. Second, it provides an awesome environment for a disc golfer without any tournament experience to play in an organized event. Finally, it provides an opportunity for a local disc golf community to raise money that gets returned to that same community to organizations tasked with serving veterans!
Vets Disc Golf Club - Middle Tennessee Chapter is Proud to present the Veterans for Vets Nashville sponsored by Sad Dog Discs!
Join us at Two Rivers DGC for a fun flex start event from 8:00am to 2:00pm that honors our Veterans! We will be playing in the sun, rain, sleet, or snow (no thunderstorms). You must have a group of at least three to play but PLEASE, no groups larger than 4 for speed of play. Any groups larger than four will need to be split into smaller groups. You must sign up by December 1st in order to receive a players pack the day of the tournament. All players that sign up after that date will receive their Players pack after the event due to shipping and timing to get the players packs ordered and shipped.
As usual, if we have more than 50 people sign up then we will be raffling off a veterans basket along with other items. If you would like to donate an item for the raffle then please contact the tournament staff or reach out to us at [email redacted]
CTP ($2) and Ace pot ($3) are optional side items in the registration. CTP’s will be divisional, Ace pot will be overall divisions. If no Ace is hit during the round the Ace pot will be added to our donations/proceeds for this year.
“In loving memory” or “Thank you for your service” signs are available ($10) in the registration or by reaching out to tournament staff or [email redacted]. Please send all information wanted on your sign to the email address above.
Hole sponsorship signs ($25) are also available in the registration or by reaching out to tournament staff or [email redacted]. Please send company logos or sign information to the email address above.
Sad Dog Discs will also be on site for any extra disc cravings and accessory needs that you may have!
