    12:45pm - 1:45pm

    Lunch break! Bring your own or pick something up if you’re playing two rounds. We have a large fridge and full kitchen (crockpot, anyone?). We also have a keg of Session IPA from Meier’s Creek.

    1:00pm - 1:30pm

    Check in for doubles. This is an estimate. I’ll sit down at the table shortly after wrapping up singles play. If you’re playing doubles but not singles, please be on site by 1 p.m.

    1:45pm - 4:45pm

    One round of unsanctioned best-shot doubles. Everyone will play the shorts (a 19-hole layout that includes 16A).

About this tournament

The Van Buren SuperFlex is a new tournament adventure that we'll be taking together on Sunday, Aug. 17. Come for some, or come for all. (But at the very least, read this all before asking questions.)

This page is the registration for Round 2, bring-your-own partner best-shot doubles in the afternoon (tentative start time of 1:45 p.m.). We'll be playing a C-Tier singles event with a shotgun start at 9:30 a.m. as well (registration here: https://www.discgolfscene.com/tournament/Van_Buren_SuperFlex_singles_2025).

Feel free to bring your own lunch or make a quick local pickup if you’re playing both rounds. We have a fridge and full kitchen available on site. There will be a complimentary keg of Session IPA from Meier’s Creek Brewing Co.

These are separate events with separate registration, payouts, etc. They'll just be taking place on the same day to give you all two chances at playing a competitive round on one of the best courses in the area.

The flex-start element comes in the cards. As has been the case with previous events in this series, you can pick who you play with. Please select your group at registration (they can be viewed publicly on the 'Players' tab in the same place where tee times traditionally are). Starting holes will be assigned the day before the event to optimize pace of play.

Doubles layout:

All divisions: Short baskets (19-hole layout including 16A)

All amateurs who sign up for doubles will receive a custom-stamped Innova disc designed by CNY's own Chris Haanan and a $10 credit to Chamberlin Outdoor Sports, which will be on-site as our vending sponsor! Credits can also be used day of or held and redeemed at Jason's store in Fulton. Any ams who are already signed up for singles will have the option of waiving a second players pack to save $15.

MA1 will be playing for a tight payout with $20 from each team going to the purse.

Pros will be playing for cash, of course.

There will be a Discraft Chainstar Lite basket being raffled off at tournament central to benefit the club.

PASS-THRU FEES: $5 from each entry will go to Van Buren for park usage and facility rental. However, anyone playing both rounds will be able to check a box on their second entry to save $5.
