About this tournament

Welcome to the first disc golf event in Upland! I know that the disc golf community in our town is not large so let's change that with this very beginner-friendly event. First-time players VERY welcome, as you will go home with your own set of discs to play again whenever you'd like.
When: Sunday, June 2nd from 12:30 - 6 pm.
How It Works
PAR2 is a casual, unsanctioned tournament with eighteen holes 180' and under. The goal is to run at aces, card 2’s, and have fun. Whoever scores the lowest round wins. Players must use the provided discs in their players pack for all throws. It is a great way to learn the sport of disc golf, involve all skill levels, and have a great time!
Format
We will be playing a modified 9-hole layout at Upland Park (listed as Upland Park Mini on UDisc,) going through it twice for a total of 18 holes. You must play the whole round with only the discs provided in the player pack. Some holes will have additional challenges to help you cut strokes (think putt putt golf style fun but with discs!)
You must tee off with at least a group of 3 players (no more than 5) between 12:30 and 6 pm. If you need players to form a group, just hang out at the check-in desk and there will be others you can join.
Entry Fees
Entry fees are standardized at $30 USD. Entry fees include one full round of play and the included Player's Package. There will also be an optional $5 ace fund. The ace fund will be split amongst all aces. If no aces are hit, the money will go toward further disc golf course improvements at the park.
Player Packages
Update: the PAR2 Player's Packs for this event will be different than a standard Par 2 event because of some manufacturing shortages. The players pack will be a 3-disc challenge. The discs will be an F3, A5, and PA-3 in fractal plastic. We will have plenty of extra discs to giveaway courtesy of Prodigy too so watch for those notices in your player emails.
Prize Package
Each PAR2 division winner will receive a prize pack of discs!
All proceeds for the tournament will go toward further disc golf improvements in Upland!
