Event Details:

The USDGC Doubles Qualifying Event hosted by Disc Baron and sponsored by Innova will be held on Sunday, July 9th at Fallasburg Park in Lowell, MI. The tournament will include 2 rounds of 18 holes of play from the long tee pads. The USDGC Doubles Qualifying Event is a BYOP (Bring Your Own Partner) Best Shot doubles event with an opportunity to qualify for the USDGC Doubles Championship in Rock Hill, SC on Sept 29th-Oct 1st.



Eligibility:

· All players must meet one of the following criteria in order to be eligible to compete in the USDGC Doubles Main event:

o Player is not a PDGA member or does not have a player rating.

o Player has PDGA Amateur class status - meaning the player plays in Amateur divisions for prizes instead of cash. If a player plays in a Pro division and accept cash at any time, they become a Professional class member. An Amateur class player has either never accepted cash, or if they have, they have later met the criteria to be reclassified from Professional back to Amateur.

· Mixed groups of pro and am class players is not allowed.

· Players who qualify as a team must play together as a team in the main event. No substitutions.

· All qualified players must register online by Sunday, September 10th. No exceptions.



How many teams qualify?:

0-14 teams = 1 Team qualifies
15-24 teams = 2 Teams qualify
25-36 teams = 3 Teams qualify

Each player on the team will receive a premium custom disc

2 rounds of 18 holes doubles, partner's best shot



Ace Pool & 50/50:

$2 Ace Pool & $3 50/20 will be available for entry



Division(s):


For this event and for the USDGC Doubles Championship, there will be only 1 division, Amateur. Please refer to the Eligibilty section for further details.


Prizes:

There will be prizes on several holes, including 2nd Closest Shot, CTPs and LPs. The team(s) who qualify for the USDGC Doubles Championship in Rock Hill, SC will also receive premium trophy tags to commemorate their victory.


Payouts:

$40 ($60 team entry less $20 for players pack discs) from every team's entry will be pooled and awarded to the top 1/3 finishing teams after both rounds of competition are complete. Payouts will be provided by Disc Baron in the form of coupons to Disc Baron retail or online store, PRODUCT WILL NOT BE BROUGHT DAY OF THE EVENT. Winners will have until 8/9/17 to redeem their coupons. Coupons must be used in one transaction and no change will be provided.


Lunch Break:

Lunch will run approximately 1 hour to 1 hour and 15 minutes after the last card is turned in. 2nd round start time will be rounded to the closest 15 minutes.


Refunds:

Refunds will be handled and processed in accordance with PDGA event standards.
