You aren't doing anything this Sunday, so you might as well try to qualify for USDGC doubles!
This is a one-round doubles event that will be held on Sunday, August 6th on the Mars Hill University course.
THE EVENT IS ON! Register by Thursday morning at 7am to guarantee a USDGC stamped innova disc!
Any proceeds will be donated to the WNC High School Disc Golf League.
Format:
- One round of Captain's Doubles (best shot)
- Shotgun start (9 AM)
Layout:
-Both FA1 and MA1 will play the layout as outlined in the pictures on the event page.
On uDisc the layout we're using is currently called "Thrills in the Hills (Pro & MA1)"
Players Pack:
- Each player will receive a custom stamped INNOVA disc with the 2023 USDGC Doubles event logo.
Schedule:
- Check-in between 7:30-8:30
- Short player meeting at 8:30
- Round starts at 9am
Awards:
The USDGC Doubles Main Event is an amateur disc golfer's only opportunity to compete at the famed Winthrop Arena Course decked out in all its USDGC Pageantry. If you want to test your mettle on one of the most challenging courses in the world this is your chance.
The main event is 9/29-10/1. More information can be found at https://usdoubles.com/
Winners from both divisions will qualify to participate. However, more may qualify, based on this sign-up formula:
Men
1-14 Teams = 1 Team qualifies
15-24 Teams = 2 Teams qualify
25+ Teams = 3 Teams qualify
Women
1-4 Teams = 1 Team qualifies
5-9 Teams = 2 Teams qualify
10+ Teams = 3 Teams qualify

Kyle Silva is responsible for all refunds/cancellations.
Teams that cancel AFTER Thursday 8/3 at 7am will be given their player pack Innova discs in lieu of a refund (since we need to buy them from Innova)
