USDGC Doubles Qualifier at High Meadow Farm Presented by Bull City Disc Club
This is the LAST CHANCE to qualify for 2025 USDGC AM DOUBLES! Come play 2 rounds at a spectacular private course, located outside of Hillsborough NC. Don’t miss this chance to come play this challenging and beautiful hidden gem.
Format:
Best shot doubles
2 rounds - long pads
Divisions offered:
MA1 & FA1 (USDGC Doubles qualifying only)
Pro division
All players must meet one of the following criteria to be eligible to compete in the USDGC Doubles Main event:
--The Player is not a PDGA member or does not have a player rating and has never accepted cash in a PDGA event.
--The player has an Amateur Player Classification with the PDGA - meaning the player is classified as an amateur and plays in amateur divisions for prizes instead of cash. If a player plays in a Pro division and accepts cash at any time, they become classified as a Professional member. An Amateur class player has either never accepted cash, or if they have, they have later met the criteria to be reclassified from Professional back to Amateur with the PDGA.
--A mixed group of pro and am-class players is not allowed.
--Players who qualify as a team must play together as a team in the main event. No substitutions, no exceptions.
--All qualified players must register for the main event online by Sunday, September 10th. No exceptions.
Top finishing teams in this qualifier will be invited to play in the USDGC Doubles Main Event which launches Championship week in Rock Hill SC. This is your chance as an amateur to play the famed Winthrop Arena Course decked out in all its USDGC Pageantry.
The number of teams that can qualify for the USDGC Doubles Main Event is based on the number of teams that participate in your qualifier. The thresholds are as follows.
MA1
· 1-14 Teams = 1 Team qualifies
· 15-24 Teams = 2 Teams qualify
· 25+ Teams = 3 Teams qualify
FA1
· 1-4 Teams = 1 Team qualifies
· 5-9 Teams = 2 Teams qualify
· 10+ Teams – 3 Teams qualify
Amateur entry fee breakdown and player pack info:
-AM’s: Buy in: $20 per player/$40 per team
-$15 to HMF
-$5 to BCDC
-$20 to USDGC
Amateur Player Pack:
-Each player will receive a custom USDGC doubles stamp disc. USDGC doubles medals will be awarded to qualifying teams.
Pro entry fee info:
-Pros: Buy in: $20 per player/$40 per team
PayPal payout, top 30%, $15 per person will go to payout
