About this tournament

This is a local bracket qualifier for the United States Amateur Match Play Championships presented by Dynamic Discs.
Only 8 Spots are available for this qualifying bracket! We will randomly draw a seeded singles bracket and play 1 on 1 match play (single elimination) beginning on Sat May 28th. Sun May 29th is scheduled for winners to play the semi final matches, and Mon May 30th is scheduled for winners to play the Championship match. All matches can be played in one day if both paired opponents agree, the additional days are for weather and personal scheduling conflict situations. We will also reserve the following Sat and Sun as rain dates if needed.

Player's Pack: 1 Special Edition USAMPC Fusion Burst Ballista Pro and 1 Prototype Culprit from Dynamic Discs
Format: Non-Sanctioned Single Elimination Head to Head Matchplay
Who: Current PDGA member – All amateur disc golfers can play regardless of their rating. Professional disc golfers rated 969 or below as of the March 2022 PDGA rating update can play (based on the current PDGA policy, which allows professionals to play MA1 in amateur events). New members who do not have a current PDGA rating can also compete. Non-current PDGA members – Disc golfers who have never been rated 970 or above. And Non-PDGA members – Disc golfers who are not current PDGA members and have never been PDGA members.
Note: There are no refunds. If you withdraw or miss your round (once agreed upon with your opponent) you will forfeit your match and be mailed your player pack/prizes.
Championship Bracket for local bracket winners is in Emporia, Kansas – September 22nd-24th, 2022

Awards for Local Qualifying Bracket.
First Place – DyeMax Trophy Disc + $90 dynamicdiscs.com credit
Second Place – $45 dynamicdiscs.com credit
*Players that win their Local Bracket and make the trip to Emporia for the Championship Bracket will be provided with $200 in Dynamic Discs store credit. If the winner on the local bracket chooses to not travel to Emporia for the Championships, the spot is then offered to the 2nd place finisher, and so on.
Awards and Details for the Championship Bracket in Emporia
FIRST PLACE – $14K VALUE
18 Veteran baskets and 18 tee signs to be used wherever the champion wants! ($8K value)
Dynamic Discs will ship 18 portable or permanent Veteran baskets and 18 tee sign frames to the winner. These baskets could be donated to a local park that needs new baskets, go towards a new course (public or private), or any other creative place the champion chooses!
Dynamic Discs will provide the champion with a $1,000 credit at dynamicdiscs.com.
SECOND PLACE – $5K VALUE
Nine Veteran baskets and nine tee signs to be used wherever the second-place finisher wants! ($4K value)
Dynamic Discs will ship nine portable or permanent Veteran baskets and nine tee sign frames to the champion. These baskets could be donated to a local park that needs new baskets, go towards a new course (public or private), or any other creative place the second-place finisher chooses!
