Turkey Open 2012

We now have 13 sleeves cemented in the ground and 1 basket mounted in a tree. That's right, in a tree: http://www.discgolfscene.com/profile/1445/pictures/album_9644/172084#172084
Tomorrow I will try to purchase the hardware for the remaining 3 basket mounts which will also be unique...
It looks like Tuesday and Wednesday will be moving days and the cages will go on the poles Thursday...
Most days this week I will be there after 5 pm if anyone feels the desire to head on up and lend a hand...

Correct Aaron. The permanent course will have similar holes and some that are completely new or tweaked a little.

Awesome. Sounds like you guys are getting the bulk of it done, but if any help is needed on Thursday or Friday gimme a shout. I was planning on coming up Friday but can do Thursday if an extra set of hands will help.

The Turkey Open will be on the new design. Heading out thee in about an hour to continue pouring cement. We have 11 holes to pour today then hang 3 more during the week. Doug, we are trying to have it ready for Friday...

The install began today. We have a ways to go but what we have so far is sweet. I hope to be there Sunday working on the course if anyone is available. Noonish is my early forecast, barring Sat night festivities :-) ...

We are now filled to capacity! that is hoping everyone shows up. I was gently reminded that for this tournament we will have two temporary holes bringing the hole total to 20. With two ghost groups this allows us to accommodate 44 players.

Since this is only a pre registration and not a paid registration, those who have have pre reg'd will have their spots saved until 0920, 10 minutes before registration closes. At that time, if there are spots available I will work off a wait list that I will start if more people pre reg on line.

i'm in the small arm because of my partner, and it was suggested that we play there. i want to play in ma1, trust me. I want the challenge. I want my partner to be comfortable with his game, and taking him out of ma3, and going into ma1 isn't going to help that we've talked about it.

Shevela and bayliss- There's no way I out throw shevela. I said I max out at 450, not hit it every time I drive. But when necessary, I know I can hit it. 400 is more commonplace for me. The only reason why I haven't been able to jump to ma1 for my personal tournaments, is that I don't have the consistent mental game that you other guys show. and putting is stil a work in progress at times.

Oleskie- I wasn't aware of your partner situation, so maybe I spoke too soon on it. play in ma3 then, you're obviously in a similar situation as I am. I just know that if you start pumping your buzzz 400, I'm just gonna vomit lol

Mango- Matt was totally cool with us playing MA3, he didn't wanna play MA1. and I'd love for him to carry me, his short game beats the **** out of mine. He'd be the first to tell you though, he doesn't think we would compete in MA1.

all in all, I retract my previous statements then. Apparently I didn't realize I couldn't talk **** to a buddy golfer, but since his partner is a newbie, I must retract. I'll see you all out there.
