Sunday, September 3rd come on down to Panthorn for a Trilogy Challenge flex start to benefit the Closer to Free Ride!

The Closer to Free Ride offers five scenic, professionally-supported routes. Hundreds of dedicated volunteers taking care of every detail. A powerful Opening Ceremony and an exhilarating Finish Line Festival at the Yale Bowl. And the opportunity to ride remotely wherever you may be. As always 100% of the dollars raised by Riders and Volunteers go to research and care at Smilow Cancer Hospital and Yale Cancer Center. This is bigger than one person on one bicycle. Because so much is riding with us.

EVENT FEES:
$40 per player broken down as follows:
- $30 to the cost of the player pack from Dynamic Discs
- $10 donated to the Closer to Free Ride
Players are strongly encouraged to pre-register in order to help us properly facilitate this event. If we do not reach capacity, walk up spots may be available at the discretion of the Tournament Directors. Any walk up will incur a $5 administration fee in addition to the tournament entry fee. This fee will be donated to Closer to Free.
PLAYER PACK:
The 2023 Trilogy Challenge Player Pack includes:
(1) Ricky Wysocki Orbit Fuzion Ice Vandal (driver)
(1) Matt Orum Orbit Tournament Ice Warship (midrange)
(1) Kristin Tattar Orbit Retro Pure (putter)
(1) Microfiber Towel
(1) Flexible Mini
FORMAT/LAYOUT:
This event will consist of a single round from the RED tees. Players are only allowed to use the 3 discs provided for the event. Course notes will be sent out prior to the event and available at check in.
PARKING:
Please park in the main lot.
TOURNAMENT CENTRAL:
Tournament central for this event will be located near the entrance to the path to hole 1.
CHECK IN:
Players should check in prior to their round. Check in will open at 8:30. Players should plan on checking in no later than 15 minutes before their tee time.
TEE TIMES:
For this event, players will select a tee time at registration. Tee times are first come, first serve.
PLAYERS MEETING:
There will be no on site players meeting for the events in this series. You will receive an email containing all relevant information for each event no later than 24 hours before the event. If you have any questions in regards to any aspect of the event, please make sure to ask the TDs during check in.
AWARDS/PRIZES:
Division winners will be awarded a trophy disc after the event as well as a gift certificate for DynamicDiscs.com. You do not need to be present at the end of the event to claim your prize.
ACE POT:
There is an optional $5 Ace Pot for the event. If there are multiple aces across the day, it will be divided amongst the players that ace. If no ace is hit, the ace pot will be donated to Closer to Free.
CHARITY RAFFLE:
We will be holding a charity raffle onsite. All proceeds will go to Closer to Free. If you would like to donate a prize to the raffle, please let us know.

Refund policy
CTP Events is responsible for all refunds/cancellations.
All refund requests must be made through Disc Golf Scene. Full refund if requested by 8/21/23 @ 8 PM. After that time, a full refund will only be granted if your spot is filled off the waitlist at the time of refund request.
