About this tournament

This is a casual event that is being held as a fundraiser for course improvements and the Lions of Shakopee. None of the folks working on this are getting paid and all the moneys are going back into improving the course and getting discs in young folks' hands.

~The Shakopee Lion's Club Presents~
Directed by Adam Henke and Joe Erickson

The Trilogy Challenge is a 1 round event where you compete exclusively using the three discs you get to take home as part of the players pack along with a minidisc marker and cleaning towel. The 2020 Trilogy Challenge discs are the Latitude 64 SPZ3, the Dynamic Discs Bounty, and the Westside Discs Crown.

The cards will each have 3-5 people. If you have a group you want to play with, make sure you check in with them and show up together!

Get here early. We will be raffling off prizes and the closer to 9am you check-in, the more chances you have to win. You will get one ticket for each hour left in the tournament window when you sign up, (e.g. you get six tickets if you start at 9am, five tickets at 10am, and so on...). There will also be a hidden prize on the course available to the first contestant who finds it; Pitter Patter.

Day-of sign-ups will be $40 per player, cash and very limited.

Register HERE- up there to the left, eh

Here's some more info on the new discs:

Latitude 64 Opto/Gold SPZ3
Speed: 9 Glide: 6 Turn: -1 Fade: 2
The SPZ3 is a fairway driver made for easy distance. The combination of good speed and glide gives you more control, as you can power down and safely land by the basket.

Dynamic Discs Lucid/Fuzion Bounty
Speed: 4 Glide: 5 Turn: -1.5 Fade: 0.5
The Bounty brings a different feel to the Dynamic Discs midrange lineup. With a shallow rim and bead, the Bounty is a slightly understable midrange that acts like a slower Maverick. At shorter distances and slower speeds, the Bounty will fly very straight with good glide and minimal fade. When thrown with more speed, the Bounty will slowly move to the right without burning into the ground. Use the Bounty to shape shots in the open or in the woods, and you’ll love the control you gain!

Westside Discs BT Hybrid Crown
Speed: 3 Glide: 4 Turn: 0 Fade: 1
The Crown is a putter for players that like a beaded rim putter, stable flight, and consistency. A stable flyer with a good glide makes it a great tool in every bag. Choose the Crown to make all your important putts.

***If we get 100 people signed up, I will be raffling off a Dynamic Discs Marksman Basket! Let's try to hit 100!

It's up to all of us to slow the spread of COVID-19. If you feel sick, stay home. Avoid touching the baskets and other players or their property. Please practice six foot social distancing at all times.
