About this tournament

Welcome to the third annual Tinsel Toss. We will once again be raising money for Gulf Coast Children's Advocacy Center and bringing the Naughty and Nice doubles rounds back.

This year we are adding a new twist, with a choose your own player pack/donation! Your entry fee entitles you to a large players pack, but if you don't want/need it, you have the option to donate that portion of the pack to our partner charity, Gulf Coast Children's Advocacy Center! We are hoping that this, in part with our raffle and other donations will help us blow past last year's $3000 donation.

So about the event! It'll be 2 rounds, doubles. The first round will be the nice round, in which it will be best shot. The second round will be the naughty round, in which is will be tough shot.

Best shot means both players throw and you take the lie that the players believe is the best. It does not have to be the closest and is up to the team who took the throws.

Tough shot means both players throw and you take the lie that the other folks on your card believe is the worst. It also doesn't have to be the furthest (example, one is 4 feet further but clear, a shorter occluded putt could be considered worse). However, if someone holes out, it counts and you don't have to take the other. (example, person A throws into the water, person B aces the hole, the score is a 1).

We will also be having a large raffle for this event!

Also, we will be allowing folks to sign up for a coed division by using the RAH division.

Layouts:
MPO/MA1 - Blue
FPO/FA1/MA2 - White
FA3/MA3/MA4 - Red

We may add age protected divisions if people are interested in others. Need at least 3 teams to make a division. If a division doesn't make, they will be contacted by the TD.

Refund policy

Bay County Disc Golf Club is responsible for all refunds/cancellations and will be handled in accordance with the PDGA refund policy 1.03 in the Competition Manual.

All withdrawals may be subject to a handling fee to not exceed $10.

Withdrawal refunds (minus handling fee)
> 30 days prior - 100%
15-29 days prior - 100% if spot is filled by someone else, 50% if not or player's pack pickup
< 14 days prior - 100% if spot is filled by someone else, 50% if not or player's pack pickup
48 hours prior - no refund, player's pack pickup available
No show - no refund, no player's pack

If a division is vacated due to lack of participation, all participants will be notified and allowed to either change divisions or receive a 100% refund with no handling fee within 72 hours of the change of division notification.
