About this tournament
2 rounds of play
$305/$500 raised so far!!!
The United Cerebral Palsy of Mobile is an organization dedicated to the well-being and support of our special needs community. They accepted our son, Donnie, into their preschool program this year with open arms and have provided him with therapy services, an accessible playground for his mobility device, and lots of friends.
It is in our hearts to give back to this organization because it is donors like us who are able to make it all happen. September 18th is the 16th Annual Food & Folly event and our goal is to raise $500 to be a sponsor. Here is some information provided by the UCP website:
"Founded in 1947, United Cerebral Palsy of Mobile is one of the region’s
most trusted and longstanding nonprofits, serving individuals with
disabilities across 32 counties in south Alabama—from Mobile to
Montgomery.
We provide a continuum of support that begins in infancy through our
Early Intervention program and continues into adulthood with services like
our Adult Day Program, Supported Employment, Respite Services,
Preschool, Camp SMILE, Childcare Training, and more.
Thanks to events like Food & Folly—and the generous support of
community-minded sponsors—we’re able to deliver life-changing
programs to more than 700 individuals with disabilities every month.
To learn more about our mission, our programs, and the people we serve,
visit ucpmobile.org."
This tournament will be a trophy only event and the trophies will be home made by me (Caroline). If a division reaches 5+ teams we will add a $60 payout for first place. This event will not be sanctioned so it will be very casual and the intention is to be a fun day of playing disc golf and raising money! All divisions will play red tees for both rounds. There will be no player packs so all money will go to the sponsorship of Food & Folly.
If you have any questions, please call me at 251-454-2208 :)
