About this tournament

Throwing for the Clubhouse is a 2 round tournament to raise money for the Illinois Valley Brain Injury Clubhouse. The Illinois Valley Brain Injury Clubhouse is a nonprofit dedicated to helping individuals with traumatic brain injuries regain independence, confidence, and community through the internationally recognized Clubhouse Model of Care.
This tournament is unsanctioned to preserve entry fees for the event and cause. Please sign up through UDisc as well, as this will help us keep track of scores.
Tournament Entry Fee Distribution:
$20 to cover costs (Players Packs, Top 3 Prizes, etc.)
$10 for 50/50 CTP
$5 for Ace Pot
$25 for direct donation to the Illinois Valley Brain Injury Clubhouse
There will be raffles at the event. Make sure to bring cash for that. Tickets will be $1 for 1 ticket and $5 for 6 tickets. Raffles will include a variety of discs, as well as baskets and various prizes from some of our sponsors.
Players Packs will be given to the first 24 players (12 teams) who sign up. The players pack contents will include:
1 Specialty Throwing for the Clubhouse stamped Karma (7, 8, 1, -2)
1 Specialty Throwing for the Clubhouse stamped Spear (9, 6, -2, 1)
Thrivent/Midland "Swag Bag"
*Team 11 and 12 will get discs, but not with the specialty stamps.
There will be food provided by the Marilla Park Disc Golf Club.
The tournament will have two rounds, 18 holes each. During lunch, there will be a free beginners round where people who plan to start their journey or have an interest in learning the sport will play 3 holes.
Check in will start at 8:00am and close at 8:45am. We will have a players meeting at 9:00am to go over rules, OBs and mandos, and wish everyone a good luck. Our first round should start at 9:15am.
Top 3 teams will receive prizes. Prizes will include specialty bag tags for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd.
