About this tournament
2 rounds of play
This is a women’s team event, with teams made of four women each.
It is also a participating event for the 2026 Evergreen Women’s Series (EWS) points.
This year, we will have TWO DIVISIONS!
The rating cap for the Gold Pool will be < 3600
The rating cap for the Blue Pool will be < 3100
We had to pick divisions that the PDGA recognizes for our registration to show up on their website, so:
"Gold [rating 970+]" is for teams with a combined rating lower than 3600. This pool will be playing the 20-hole Timber Claw layout
"Blue [rating <970]" is for teams with a combined rating lower than 3100. This pool will be playing the 20-hole Spring Board layout
(Please ignore the [rating] stuff in the brackets)
Team ratings will be locked based on the PDGA July ratings update. Your rating on the day of the event won’t matter. Only your rating as of the July update will be used.
This helps avoid last-minute changes to team eligibility.
Players without an official PDGA rating will be assigned a provisional rating of 725.
Entry fee: $160 per team ($40 per player)
If you don’t have a team yet but want to play, feel free to reach out to any of the Event Staff! You can also make a post on the Evergreen Women’s Series Facebook page to find teammates.
FORMAT:
This event is modeled after the National Collegiate Disc Golf Championships format. Teams of 4 women will play two rounds of Team Doubles Play.
What is Team Doubles Play?
Doubles are played with two sets of teammates, one ODD and one EVEN. The ODD set will tee off on every odd-numbered hole, while the EVEN set tees off on every even-numbered hole. After the tee shots, the team chooses which of the two lies to play. From there, the set that did not tee, throws their two shots. Again, the whole team decides which lie to play from, and the set that teed off would throw. That alternating process continues until the hole is complete. On the next hole, according to the hole number, ODD or EVEN, the corresponding set of teammates would tee off no matter which set putt out on the previous hole. This format allows each player to tee off the same number of times and for teams to play as a whole. Each hole has two teams playing together as an eight-some.
Please reach out if you have any questions about the format.
