This is a one-day All Metal Event. The reason it is considered a 'pre-flight' is that we have a main event weekend October 6th and 7th, which is actually two one day events of the same kind. The October events will have a player's pack but for this event Capital City Disc Golf will be providing scrip payouts. Buy-in includes $5 day use fee

The format is a hybrid between the classic Ace Race and a Putting League with holes ranging between 50-250 ft. Players must complete the hole by drawing metal anyway they can (ie; chains, cage, pole, etc). The course also offers a wide range of strategic play with the use of 'Bonus Islands.' From these islands players can Make thier putt(not just metal) to exempt that stroke! 2 rounds on a 21 hole skills challenge layout in groups of 5-6. Just Throw It! First-round players will be allowed to make their cards and play with friends or family if they like, otherwise we will form cards. Second round is set up in order of score and the cards for the second round form divisions. For this round players are only playing against everyone on that card heads-up. At the end of the event the winner from each card will be awarded equaly. This is a really fun event that gives players at any level the ability to play their game disc golf and offers some additional strategy as well. We will be continuing to develop sponsorship for the event so we'll have lots of little goodies and extras. So come on out and test your skills at one of Oregon's most beloved and beautiful courses.
