The 25th Anniversary of The Vortica Disc Golf 2025 Paradise Plates. An event on the NZDG Tour.

Paradise is an exceptionally beautiful area and is recognised with World Heritage status. The Paradise Trust property, on which you will be playing, has been hosting tourists since the mid-1880s. In more recent times it has become well known as a location for many scenes in the Lord of the Rings and Hobbit trilogies.

Course open for practice from 11am (please give way to doubles pairings)

JUNGLE OF FAME - Garden Of Eden from 8.30pm
Dress up party. After a shared dinner, we encourage you to dress up as your spirit animal in some way or form and come along to The Jungle of fame party (jungleoffame.com)

Prizegiving at HQ after everyone has finished and all first place divisional ties have been broken.

The organisers reserve the right to remove divisions and place players in the nearest appropriate division.

The price of entry includes a players pack tournament disc for amateur players and hot lunches for all players who select this option at registration on the Saturday, Sunday and Monday plus moonlight disc golf on the Sunday night.

Accommodation payment covers you for the four nights of the tournament - Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday. You don’t need to stay for all these nights but the payment is required regardless of how many nights you stay due to new rules set by the Paradise Trust.

Disc Golf Wanaka Incorporated is responsible for all refunds/cancellations.

Players who officially request to withdraw from this event at least 30 days before the start of the event (before or on 13th Feb 2025) will receive a 100% monetary refund of their entry fee (minus PayPal, discgolfscene fees and a $10 admin / refund handling fee).

Players who officially request to withdraw from this event 15 to 29 days before the start of this event (14th to 27th Feb 2025) will receive a 100% monetary refund of their entry fee (minus PayPal, discgolfscene fees and a $10 admin / refund handling fee) only if their spot in the tournament is filled by a player who is on the waitlist at the time of the withdrawal request. If the player’s spot is not filled, the player will receive a 50% monetary refund.

Players who officially request to withdraw from this event within 14 days of the start of the event (on or after 28th Feb 2025) will receive a 100% monetary refund (minus PayPal, discgolfscene fees and a $10 admin / refund handling fee) only if their spot in the tournament is filled by a player who is on the waitlist at the time of the withdrawal request. If the player’s spot is not filled, the player will receive a 25% monetary refund.

Players who request withdrawal within 48 hours of the start of play, or who request withdrawal after the published close of registration and the published end of waitlist replacements, are not entitled to a refund.
