About this tournament

The Tapir Day Disc Golf Tournament
We will celebrate World Tapir Day with a disc golf tournament here in Sherwood Arkansas. This will be a standard 18 hole 1 round PDGA Sanctioned C Tier singles tournament.
Entry is $25, for transparency we will break down entry below, this covers all PRO and AM divisions.
$20 will go into a prize pool.. NO PLAYER PACKS for any divisions.
$3.50 will cover PDGA, PayPal, and DGScene fees and sanctioning.
$1.50 will cover CTP stuff, we will have $150+ in CTPs available to all players.
Top 45% of pro divisions will be paid via PayPal within 24 hours. Top 45% of AM divisions will have credit available at 13 Peaks Trading Disc Golf 2 hours after the tournament ends. I will be at the store directly after the tournament, anyone from out of town can get store credit expedited.
We plan to set the course up difficult, long positions on every hole. We will submit this as a new layout for rating purposes. In the past, Forest has been generous on PDGA ratings with first run layouts.
Tee time will be 10:00AM, we should wrap at roughly 1:00 where I will announce division winners. The projected payouts will post before anyone tees off, we pay out the projections so everyone should be able to understand prize structure in each division.
We will also do a swap shop style thing for DG equipment before and after the round. We have the small SF pavilion so there is plenty of room to set up your stuff you don’t use, sell buy trade. Personally, I have an extra Zucca cart, a three wheeler fold up cart thingy, a couple bags and some extra discs. First time trying this.. but a few have requested it so lets give it a shot. We will do this 1 hour before round and again after completion.
CTP stuff.. we will have a minimum of $150 worth of stuff up on CTPs spread out on the course. More detail about what and where the CTPs is coming.
Ace Pot stuff.. No ace pot for the tournament, but this will be part of a Sherwood DGA round, any current member with a 2024 tag can hit for the league ace pot.
