Hey everybody, as we get closer to the tourney date there are a couple of things I'd like to bring up.

1. PLEASE park up top near the main pavilion. We are trying to keep the bottom boat-launch parking lot as open as possible for kayakers. This keeps them from parking on the course on hole 8.

2. There will be at least one food truck at the park this weekend, maybe 2. I have spoken to the Pizza truck and they will be prepared for the amount of disc golfers who will be ordering food. They're ready. Maybe if you're finishing the first round up front, swing by and put in an order and then pick it up when you're done.

3. We will be having a little post-tourney party at Riverfront. Please come on out afterwards, have a few drinks and some food and show them some love for all that they've done for us.

4. The raffle is looking LEGIT. There is so much great stuff in there thanks to all of our amazing sponsors, so be sure to pick up some tickets. All proceeds from the raffle go right back to the club/course fund.

5. Don't forget, the Ace Pool and 50/50 are cash day-of purchases. Please remember to take care of that when you check in.

6. We will be using PDGA live scoring, so please charge up your phones.

2021 Showboat Showdown Presented by Basket Bashers! Virtual players’ meeting.

We are playing 2 rounds of 18 holes, all divisions will be playing from the same teepads. All OBs and hazard are marked on Tee Signs, so please play attention to those for accurate play!
Hazards – Play from where it lies +1 stroke
Out of bounds – Take a drop on where the disc had last crossed from in bounds +1 stroke.
Hole 2 is playing as an island hole, However for this event we will playing a drop zone. If you land OB on your drive then please proceed to the flagged dropped zone to continue play. If you go OB from the drop zone, play from where your disc was last inbounds
Hole 4 will have a drop zone as well, if you land OB please proceed to the flagged drop zone and continue play (cement pad)
Hole 9 will have a temporary tee pad and basket just beyond the original hole, tee pad will be flagged off. Hazard will be path and over to the right side. OB River.
We may be experiencing some thunderstorms and other unexpected conditions.
We will be using a horn, 3 beeps to seek shelter and suspend play for 30 minutes (after last strike of lightning). If the shelter horn is heard please use, dugouts and pavilions for shelter. Play will resume after 30 minutes of safe weather. Player’s mark your lie before seeking shelter.
The winner of AM divisions will have the chance to throw off (CTP) for a berth. The club only has 1 berth to hand out this year. If you already have your berth, or do now want a berth. please let us know so we can go down the list in your division to pass the chance on.
We have $200 in added cash to payout the professional fields, Players cashing out will receive payments VIA paypal, the added cash will be distributed day of.
AM side – People who cash will collect VIA e-mail through Basket Bashers website!
Please look at CTP cards to distinct if it is A. Your division B. A long putt or C. CTP.
Looks like we will have some food trucks visiting on site, so we have some grubbies between rounds!
We will be having a player’s party at riverfront after the tournament! Drinks and FOOD! Let’s party!
