About this tournament
This is a fundraiser event to make improvements for the University of Mobile.
All divisions will play White Tees on the original course.
There will be a few shorter tees for MA40, MA50, MA3, FA2, and MJ18 on the temporary course.
IMPORTANT INFO FOR RAM JAM CLASSIC 2 regarding the temporary course*
The temp course is in. HALLELUJAH! I will try to get a map out ASAP today but work calls. Also UDISC had not approved our new map yet. We just got the baskets and tees finalized this morning (been out there since before sunup - the school cut the grass late yesterday evening so this was our first chance).
Please be mindful of students, faculty, cars, etc and don’t take any risks. Let’s not get this course pulled before it’s even really there.
Hole 1 is adjacent to original course hole 17. Turn by the chapel and park in the parking lot on the left. I wouldn’t advise parking near OG 15 or nearest 1 temps fairway.
All baskets have the correct number on them except hole 18 is original course hole 16.
There are arrows painted near each basket pointing you the right direction to the next tee. Each tee is flagged, staked, and painted with the hole number.
FA2, MA3, and MJ18 will play short tees on the temp. There are short tees on temp 2, 7, and 11. 2 has a mando left (should be up this AM and applies for long tee). The drop zone is 2 short. 7 is an island hole. If OB from long tee advance to short tee with penalty stroke, if OB from short tee advanced to drop zone near island with penalty stroke. Normal OB applies after. If OB from hole 11 long advance to 11 short with penalty stroke. Normal OB on shots after.
