About this tournament
1 round of play
The Quillen 100 is a charity disc golf tournament led by the medical students of ETSU Quillen College of Medicine to benefit Niswonger Children's Hospital. Our goal is to bring the community together for a day of disc golf, camaraderie, and giving back. We will also be hosting a Kids Zone and health fair at the course start, so bring the whole family with you!
We will hold beginner and advanced tournament play. The beginner division will play the short baskets, and the advanced division will play the long baskets. Mulligans will be available for purchase at $2 each. Participants can purchase mulligans at registration or in person on tournament day. Neither division will be restricted on the maximum number of mulligans allowed. In the event of a tie, the player with the least number of mulligans will be declared the winner.
Beginner time window: 8:30AM - 10:30AM
Advanced time window: 1:00PM - 4:00PM
Register for the beginner division if you:
- Consider yourself a new or casual player
- Have played disc golf a handful of times or less, or mostly play for fun with friends
- Don't own a full disc golf bag (a couple of all-purpose discs is plenty)
- Are still learning to control distance and direction off the tee
- Want a relaxed, social round with mulligans to keep things fun
Register for the advanced division if you:
- Consider yourself an experienced player & are looking for real competition
- Play disc golf regularly and are comfortable with a full bag (drivers, mid-range, putters)
- Can consistently drive 250+ feet and reach most greens in regulation
- Have played in leagues or tournaments before, or carry a PDGA rating
- Want a competitive round against similarly skilled players
Please plan to park in the lot on the other side of Carroll Creek Rd and walk over to the course start. We anticipate that the disc golf lot will fill up quickly!
If you do not want to play, but still wish to help us raise funds for Niswonger Children's Hospital you can donate through this link: https://www.paypal.com/donate/?hosted_button_id=G62LK3GSDJ9NS

Refund policy
The Quillen 100 is a charity tournament, and all registration fees are non-refundable. Every entry directly supports Niswonger Children's Hospital, and funds are committed to the event well in advance of tournament day.
All sales are final — no refunds will be issued for any reason, including but not limited to:
Change of mind or inability to attend
Injury or illness
No-shows
Weather: The Quillen 100 is a rain-or-shine event. Play will proceed as scheduled in typical rain or overcast conditions. In the rare event that organizers must cancel or shorten play due to unsafe conditions (such as lightning or severe storms), registration fees will still not be refunded, as they represent a charitable donation to Niswonger Children's Hospital rather than a purchase of services.
By registering, you acknowledge and agree to this policy.
