Welcome to the Mammoth! West River’s first A-Tier tournament.
This event will be two rounds with scheduled tee times. One round will be played on a 27-hole layout at Pageant Hill in Custer, SD. The other round will be played on a 27-hole layout at the Spearfish Canyon Disc Golf Course. Tee times for each day will be posted by 8 pm MST the day before.
Layouts, notes, and other pertinent information will be available in the Caddy Book uploaded to the documents section.
Amateur Divisions
This is a true Amateur Format with a player pack valued at 120% (and growing) of your registration fee which includes your entry for this event. For amateurs, trophies will be given to the top competitors in each division. This event will be trophy-only for amateur players.
Trophies for Amateur Divisions are based on registered players before September 1st.
1 Player - No Trophy
2 - 4 Players - 1st Place Trophy
5 - 12 Players - 1st and 2nd Place Trophies
13+ Players - 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Place Trophies
For this event, we’re working with some fantastic partners to bring you the best player pack! Amateur player packs will include:
- MaxDisctance XF10 Retriever
- $30 to the WRC Shop through the 605 Swag Shoppe
- Player’s Choice of 1 Disc from Black Hills Vinyl
While Junior Divisions entries cost less, juniors receive a full player’s pack and trophies following the guidelines. WRC Sponsors help keep costs low for youth to support growing the sport.
Professional Divisions
There will be $3,000 added cash to this event distributed evenly according to PDGA guidelines.
Pass Through Fees
PDGA Fees $5 and $5 from every player for TD Fees used to cover tournament costs and CTPs. Also, $2 per player is taken and donated to EDGE Disc Golf to support disc golf for youth players in the Dakotas.
West River Championship Series Points
This event is part of the West River Championship series and will be awarded points accordingly.
