The Lost Valley Open began nine years ago with a simple idea: create an event that players actually looked forward to all season long. Not just another stop on the calendar—but a destination.

From its earliest days, the event set out to do things the right way. Thoughtful course design, a player-first experience, and an atmosphere that felt competitive without losing the spirit of why people love disc golf in the first place. What started as a regional gathering quickly built a reputation for consistency, quality, and just the right amount of challenge.

Year after year, the Lost Valley Open has evolved. Fields have grown stronger, competition has tightened, and the event itself has become a proving ground for players looking to test their game under pressure. At the same time, it has never lost its roots—the sense of community, the shared respect for the course, and the understanding that great events are built as much off the fairway as on it.

This year marks a major step forward as the event hosts the GoThrow Tour Championships. Having the GoThrow team—and some of the best players in the world—take on our local courses is something special. It’s not just a test of skill, but a showcase of how far the event and the courses themselves have come.

Competitors will face the challenge across two standout venues: AGA Farms and Nockamixon Disc Golf Course. Both layouts demand precision, creativity, and composure, offering the perfect stage for a championship-level event.

Along the way, the tournament has seen standout performances, playoff drama, and the kind of moments that keep players coming back. It has become a place where new names break through and experienced competitors reinforce their legacy.

What began as an idea has become a tradition—and in its 9th year, the Lost Valley Open enters its biggest chapter yet.

This year we will have to hold the event as a C-Tier sanctioned event due to a close larger event in Lancaster.
