About this tournament

First PDGA Event at Castle Hayne of 2026!
The Longleaf Cup is a C-Tier tournament sponsored by RIP disc golf. This is a new disc golf media company... So there will be coverage (MPO lead card 2nd round).
We'll be playing TWO ROUNDS/ONE DAY on Sunday Feb 8th.
MPO, MP40, and MA1 will play the LONG TEES. All other divisions will play the shorts (BLUE BASKETS BOTH ROUNDS)
Pro divisions will be paid out to the top 40% of each division. Payouts will be distributed via PayPal, with 80% of entry
fees going directly into the payout pool. No cash will be paid out on site.
Amateurs will receive a player pack with $40 value - contents: 1 Stone Zone (choose your plastic), 1 RIP Towel, and 1 RIP Bag Patch. Top players in all divisions will receive Throw Coast Vouchers totaling $510 in value. Top 45% of all divisions will receive Throw Coast Vouchers as “payout”
$250 Vessi Voucher CTP for all divisions.
SCHEDULE
8:00–8:45 AM – Player check-in @ Pavilion A
8:50 AM – Players meeting
9:10 AM – Round 1 tee
~11:40 AM–12:40 PM – Lunch break (tentative)
~12:40 PM – Round 2 tee (tentative)
~3:00 PM – Trophy presentation (estimated)
All divisions will play a shotgun start for both rounds. Starting holes will be posted after the players' meeting. No walk-up entries will be accepted. Players not checked in by 8:45 will be removed from the event.
