About this tournament
2 rounds of play
Are you looking to get one last event in before winter is here? Come play this 1 day 2 round C-tier at the Oakwood Park in Cottage Grove, MN.
Everyone will be playing the classic layout from UDisc. (Short Tees to Red Baskets). Due to the nice weather and registration demand we will use the temp hole 2A again if we get over 90 players. This is from the shelter down to the closer practice basket. I have upped the max players to 100. We will add temp hole 3A that we have used in the past as well if we are above 95 players. There will be no more players or temp holes added after this.
There will be no island on hole 1 and no mandatories in play.
There is an Optional $2 ace pool that can be selected when you sign up. This will be a singular ace pool even if divisions are playing different layouts. If no ace is hit by a player signed up for the ace pool, the ace pool will be added into the Amateur Season Points Series payouts.
Tournament Payouts will be available on site after the event. Pro divisions will be paid cash or through PayPal. Amateur divisions will be paid in merchandise credit, which can be redeemed after the event at Gray Duck Disc Golf. Amateur payouts will be valid for 1 year after the event and will be redeemable using the phone number that is entered when signing up for the event. If players share a phone number when registering then any payouts will be combined unless it is redeemed immediately after the event.
Estimated Per Player Pass Through Fees:
$3 - PDGA
$1 - Sanctioning/Insurance
$3 - Course Rental
$1 (MA1-MA4 only) - Season Series Payouts
This tournament is part of the Gray Duck Tour Series and includes series payouts for at the end of the season for the MA1-MA4 Divisions. Here is the structure:
$1 of every MA1-MA4 entry goes into a prize pool for each respective division for year end tour series payouts.
Event Points Calculation:
1st = 100 + (0.1 x players in division)
Everyone Else = 100 - ((place-1) * 30) / players in division
Total Season Points will be equal to the Top 6 events for each player in a division.
After the final event of the year the Prize pool value for each division will be equal to the total number of players that played in that division for each event combined.
The top 5% of each division's season points leaders (up to 10 total players) will be paid out.
